Dr. Smita Patel
Dr. Smita Patel has cared for smiles in Washington since 2007. Born in India and raised in Bolton, England, she studied Chemistry and Computer Science at Nottingham Trent University before moving to the United States.
She earned a master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of South Florida, then her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine in 2003, and completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in North Miami Beach. She later earned a master’s degree and certificate in Orthodontics from Marquette University, deepening her eye for a healthy bite and a confident smile.
Her focus now is simple: bring gentle, unhurried, preventive care to the people for whom getting to an office is the hardest part.
